Celebrating 24 new beginner grades!

With the start of the 2024 karate year Okinawan Goju-Ryu Karate Namibia was blessed with many new karateka eager to start their karate journey in hopes of one day attaining their Black Belts.

This past weekend OGKN celebrated the first gradings of the year and are proud to announce that 24 new students successfully passed their first gradings alongside over 70 other students who also tested for their next belts.

Students from both OGKN Honbu and Shinto Dojo’s alongside the Black Belts who oversaw the grading tests.

The next major events that lie ahead for OGKN will be the Senior Brown and Black Belt Gradings in July as well as the National Championships which are set to take place August.
