OGKN celebrates seven new Black Belts!
Okinawan Goju-Ryu Karate Namibia is proud to announce that seven of its karateka passed their Shodan (1st Dan Black Belt) gradings this past weekend.
Goju Ryu celebrates it’s Region 5 medalists!
Okinawan Goju-Ryu Karate Namibia would like to congratulate it’s students, alongside the entire Namibian National Karate Team, on an amazing performance in Durban last weekend (26 – 29 May 2022) at the 19th AUSC Region 5 Children, Junior & Senior Championships. Once again Namibia managed to place third with regards to overall medal tally for the tournament; following South Africa and Botswana.

On the 3rd and 4th of November OGKN attended the annual Sensei Bakkies Laubscher Black Belt Gasshuku in the beautiful winelands of Stellenbosch, South Africa.
