Okinawan Goju-Ryu Karate Namibia is proud to announce that seven of its karateka passed their Shodan (1st Dan Black Belt) gradings this past weekend.
The gradings took place on Saturday the 13th of May, with all candidates needing to pass a written theoretical exam as well as a physical fitness test before the start of the 3-hour grading test. OGKN awarded the new grades at the official black belt celebrations later that afternoon.
